“A lot of hard work is hidden behind nice things.” – Ralph Lauren. This is a quote that represents the fall play - “Madhouse.” A lot of hard-working people put time and effort into the play. They persevered through the challenging times and produced a production that was executed very well!
Many people do not understand the behind-the-scenes effort and hard work actors and support crew put into a show. Actors and support crew put much time into performing a production and doing well.Every single day they have rehearsal. The actors work to the best of their ability during rehearsal. Their goal is to make each practice performance better and better each time. Not to mention the support crew, they work extremely hard, and many people do not realize or understand how important they are. Without them, there would be no show. No lights, no sound, no set or props, nothing but actors and their lines!
Personally, I have done five shows as a member of the sound crew. This is my third and final year. The amount of effort, time, work, and perseverance actors and support crew put into a show is beyond amazing! As the end of my time here as a sound crew member approaches, I continue to value and respect the hard-working actors and support crew members. They are the ones who make performances or productions happen! Their hard work is truly hidden, but once you see a performance, it shows.
The actors and support crew put many hours into this performance. The four public shows turned out well! Both school shows went better than expected. If you are interested in theater, please seek more information. Joining and trying theater is an experience that may help you in your future!
A special thanks to everyone who made this production possible!
